Science education is the field concerned with sharing science content and process with individuals not traditionally considered part of the scientific community.
Learners include children, college students, or adults within the general public; the field of science education comprises of work in science content, science process (the scientific method), some social science, and some teaching pedagogy.
Science education involves distribution of science content including the process with the students, farmers, market women and even the entire community who are not usually belong to the scientific community.
Science education in Nigeria is concern with the teaching of science concepts, method of teaching and also finding solution to learner problem regarding concepts.
The nation development is highly depending on the important of science education (1) that is the reason why every nation must not take their institution of learning with levity hand.
Many of the developed countries are able to accomplish more in there science and also in their technology because of science education. The Russian government was able to lunch sputnik in 4th of October, 1957 because of the importance and the position giving to physics in science education (1).
Science education are made up three subjects which are biology, chemistry and physics which are combined with education in our institutions , but over the years was recorded that there are low enrollment of these courses (2) and the reason for the low enrollment are society disregard, ridicule of teachers and low esteem of teachers (3).
